Evangelism is the announcement, proclamation, and or preaching of the gospel, the good news of and about Jesus Christ. Evangelism is also teaching (heralding, proclaiming, preaching) the gospel (the message from God that leads us to salvation) with the aim (hope, desire, goal) to persuade, convince and convert.
Member of the Evangelism/Follow up Team are people that have a passion to share your faith and reach the lost. They are involved in making a difference in the lives of others in their community. They have proven leadership skills and a commitment to teach and equip.
The following are their role
- Each evangelism team member should be involved in doing the work of personal evangelism.
- The Evangelism team leads and organises outreach programs
- They lead members of the church to a deeper commitment of personal evangelism.
