The Church Choir has an indispensable role in Church. The Choir has a variety of responsibilities, Their primary role is leading and guiding the congregation in singing praise and worship songs. The Choir is that part of the congregation that is trained and rehearsed for the specific task of leading songs. In order to fulfil to this calling, all Choirs, no matter how large or small , no matter how limited or great their skill, should strive for excellence in all that they do.
The Technical team function as follows:
Pre-service
1. Set up stage for the choir (depending on the church situation).
2. Perform proper line check, to ensure that every equipment functions perfectly.
3. Perform proper sound check; includes proper volume settings /mixer.
4. Check with choir leader and pastor for schedule and any schedule changes.
During Service
1. Responsible for adjusting sound levels during service as needed.
2. Responsible for recording the service.
3. Responsible for a distraction-free service as it relates to audio production.
Post-service
1. Talk with the choir to find out if issues existed for them during service.
2. Note any broken/faulty equipment and take it out of service if possible.
3. Clear stage of equipment as needed.
